Pointroll's technology consists of an advertising creative (typically
in the form of a 468x60), that when specific sections are rolled
over, will produce independent windows off of the creative thereby
expanding the ad. Each one of these windows is capable of consisting
of standard HTML, streaming audio and video, Macromedia Flash,
and even Dynamic content.
The problem with a lot of the new technologies available
is that it is difficult to use, but Pointroll has created
a GUI where advertisers can create their own pointroll ads
and Pointroll even went so far as to make a dummies book to
explain it further.
