Expandable : Flash

Description

   It's an Expandable Flash
   There is different types of expandable ads :

On Mouse-Over	The expandable banner will expand to give more information about the advertiser product when the internet user put the mouse pointer over the banner.
On Mouse-Click	The expandable banner will expand to give more information about the advertiser product when the internet user click on the banner.

AdLINK Acceptance

Code weight	Less than 10ko.
Associated Creatives Weight	Less than 15ko per creative, the creative can be an image, a flash animation, a instream video or a java applet.
Dimension	Depending of the banner dimension.
Backup Image	A backup image must be always provided for the users who don't have the Macromedia Flash plug-in. The dimension must be always the size of the non expanding part of the ad.
Linking URL	An active URL less than 128 characters.
Flash ActionScript	AdLINK has define a template to take in charge the expand code, this template contains to onbaord functions which allow the flash to communicate with them, here is the list of the functions: - f4d_expand_layer() : This function is especially made for Expandable Banner/Badge/Skyscraper. The particularity of this function is to increase the dimension of the layer to show more visual creatives to the Internet user. This Function MUST be always associate with the function f4d_collapse_layer ( see bellow ), and can be call through a Flash Animation Event like onRollOver, onRelease, onPress. The ActionScript code is: getURL("Javascript:f4d_expand_layer()","_self") - f4d_collapse_layer() : This function is especially made for Expandable Banner/Badge/Skyscraper. The particularity of this function is to reduce the dimension of the layer to its initial size. This Function MUST be always associate with the function f4d_expand_layer ( see above ), and can be call through a Flash Animation Event like onRollOut, onRelease, onPress. The ActionScript code is: getURL("Javascript:f4d_collapse_layer()","_self")
Rich Media Expand Code	The Rich Media Expand code will be provided by AdLINK. The template is designed to avoid any kind of conflict between the ad code and the website code.
Implementation Level

Sites Restriction

Flash	None. Some site don't accept sounded flash animations.
Floating	Some sites doesn't accept Expandable ads at all. For technical reasons some sites can not accept any king of floating ads, for i.e if the AdLINK tag in contained in website framed page, a checking has to be done and received the approval of our Richmedia specialist.
