Flash : Shaped Popup

Description

A Shaped Popup Ad is a flash popup embeded in the website page itself, there is no new created window, but it will reacte the same way as a application window, you can move it, reduce it, restore it and click on the ad. This type of creative can be delivered alone or with a banner which will be related to the floating ad.

AdLINK Acceptance

File format	2 files: one for the big animation, one for the small animation Swf. AdLINK recommand the version 5 when it's possible to publish the swf in this version.
File weight	Under 15ko.
Backup Image	A backup image must be always provided for the users who don't have the Macromedia Flash plug-in. The dimension must be always the same as the flash animation dimension. This backup image will be served like a popup, so its dimensions must be less than 250x250 (pixels).
Dimension	Any Size.
Linking URL	using of the clickTag variable implementation. If the new window has to be sized, AdLINK recommand to use this Macromedia ActionScript Code : getURL("Javascript:f4d_open_window()","_self") The f4d_open_win function is an AdLINK template embeded function.
Rich Media Shaped Popup Code	The Rich Media Shaped Popup code will be provided by AdLINK. The template is designed to avoid any kind of conflict between the ad code and the website code, and contains special scripts for special issues like dropdown menu and z-Index. Special request for Shaped Popup ads : The flash animation must contains theses Macromedia ActionScript Code to hide, to minimize and to maximize the flash layer at any time. hide the layer : getURL("Javascript:f4d_hide_layer()","_self"). minimize the layer : getURL("Javascript:f4d_make_small()","_self"). maximize the layer : getURL("Javascript:f4d_make_big()","_self").
Implementation Level

Sites Restriction

Flash	None. Some site don't accept sounded flash animations.
Floating	Some sites doesn't accept floating ads at all. For technical reasons some sites can not accept any king of floating ads, for i.e if the AdLINK tag in contained in website framed page, a checking has to be done and received the approval of our Richmedia specialist.
